The Cigar
Oasis Ultra electronic cigar humidifier is designed for
humidors up to 125 cigars or 2 cubic feet. With
minimum space requirements, it can be mounted in the lid of the humidor,
on a tray or against a side. The Ultra uses microprocessor
technology to measure and accurately control the humidity and is
able to run on either batteries or electricity. It
has two modes of control. When used with battery power it works
until the desired humidity is reached. Then the unit goes to
'sleep' which means the power is turned off to extend battery
life. It will sample the humidity every five minutes to make
sure the humidity is correct. When required, it goes into control mode
to adjust humidity. When operating on line power it samples the
humidity continuously. In both cases the control point is set to
70% humidity. The unit comes with a water cartridge that can
easily be refilled and/or replaced and requires only distilled
water. To install: A) Place the Ultra in the desired
location, 2) Attach one end of the power ribbon to the
humidifier, 3) Attach the other end of the power ribbon to the
power connector plug, 4) Connect either the battery pack or
electrical adapter to the connector plug.
